SNN to Honor Best Advertising, Marketing in Post-Acute and Long-Term Care

Aging Media Network, the parent company of Skilled Nursing News, for the first time will highlight the very best in marketing, advertising, and public relations in the world of post-acute and long-term care.

Communication with referral sources, regulators, payers, vendors, and the public has never been more critical than over the past year, as stakeholders from all parts of the sector grapple with the ongoing effects of COVID-19.

In this new normal, marketing isn’t just a matter of attracting residents or or potential partners — it’s a key educational tool as operators look for government support and a safe path forward for their residents during these incredibly difficult times.

To honor the creativity, dedication, and skill of these professionals, Aging Media Network has launched the first annual Aspect Marketing and Advertising Awards.

“The new Aspect Awards provides a showcase for providers and professionals on their incredible marketing and advertising programs,” George Yedinak, co-founder of Aging Media, said. “These industries have faced immense challenges of late, and marketing, advertising and communications will be critical as these industries come back from the COVID-19 crisis and its impact to their operations.”

The program launched this past November 2, and submissions of outstanding work will be accepted through January 15. The winners will be revealed at noon Central time on March 15.

Various types of marketing efforts will be up for 2021 Aspect Awards, including multimedia projects, print ads, radio spots, new brand launches, social media campaigns, rebrandings, and messaging and communication plans specific to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The awards will not just be limited to players in the skilled nursing space: Aging Media Network will honor professionals in senior living, home health, hospice, and palliative care.

Entries are open to both providers and vendors that serve operators within the marketplace. A panel of experts from the field will judge all submissions in February 2021.
