Dayton, Ohio, Skilled Nursing Sells for Almost $1.7M

The Forest View Care and Rehabilitation Center in Dayton, Ohio, was sold for almost $1.7 million, WHIO-TV reported on Oct. 11, citing property records.

The facility was sold to Forestview Propco LLC by Sabra Health Vcare, according to the records. Forestview Propco has a Chagrin Falls, Ohio mailing address.

Another nursing facility in Dayton, the Cottages of Clayton, will close its skilled nursing facility, though no jobs are expected to be lost.

Justin Carwile, the facility’s executive director, said in a letter to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services that the action will be temporary, since the facility will license the SNF as an assisted living facility immediately upon closing SNF operations.

Pittsburgh SNF Gets $19.5M in Bridge Financing for Acquisition

Real estate lending and advisory firm Greystone arranged $19.5 million in bridge financing for the acquisition of Squirrel Hill Center for Rehabilitation and Health in Pittsburgh.

Fred Levine of Greystone’s Monsey, N.Y. office arranged the deal on behalf of the buyer, Squirrel Hill PA Realty, LLC.

The 178-bed facility offers skilled nursing, cardiac rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, wound care, concierge services, and veterans program.

Good Samaritan Sells Three Wisconsin Locations

The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society will be selling its rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and senior living buildings in Fennimore, Lodi, and St. Croix Falls, Wis. The target date for the transfer of ownership is the end of this year.

Good Samaritan is not disclosing the name of the buyer at this time, according to a statement from the society.
