Lancaster Pollard Facilitates $16.8M Refi in Pennsylvania

Lancaster Pollard, a lender based in Columbus, Ohio, facilitated a $16.8 million refinance of the Mountain View SNF for Complete Healthcare Resources.

The 271-bed facility, located in Coal Township, Pa., also has eight independent living units.

The refinance was closed through the Federal Housing Administration’s Sec. 232/223(f) program; it decreases overall debt service and establishes a permanent debt structure with a low, fixed interest rate, in addition to improving cash flow and providing funds for future improvements. Tony Ruberg led the transaction for Lancaster Pollard.

Welltower Sells Florida SNF for $16.9 million

Welltower, Inc. (NYSE: WELL) continued its divestiture of properties in Florida, selling the ManorCare Health Services Carrollwood skilled nursing facility in the Carrollwood suburb of Tampa to Milliennium Management Inc. of Miami, Tampa Bay Business Journal reported.

The 120-bed facility was sold for $16.9 million in a deal that closed Sept. 18, the publication reported, citing Hillsborough County, Fla., records.

Welltower also sold two other Florida properties in the Miami area, the Tampa Bay Business Journal noted.

North Carolina Sets Size for Veterans Nursing Home

The North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs said a planned nursing home for veterans in Kernersville, N.C., will have 120 beds, Winston-Salem Journal reported.

The project was approved in July by the Council of State, letting the State Property Office spend $3.42 million on behalf of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of next year, and the facility is expected to have 150 employees.
