PruittHealth Announces Relocation of N.C., SNF

PruittHealth said it would relocate its SNF in Sea Level, N.C., to Beaufort, N.C., the Carteret County News-Times reported.

The Norcross, Ga.-based PruittHealth is working with town officials on the rezoning and annexation of property that sits on about 13 acres. It is not currently contiguous with town limits, making a public hearing to annex it necessary, according to a press release from PruittHealth cited by the publication.

Town officials expressed concerns about the amount of water that the facility may use, though they were also upbeat about the SNF becoming potentially the largest taxpaying entity in the town.

PruittHealth – Sea Level has 104 beds and provides short-term rehabilitation, physical therapy, wound management, and hospice care.
