Jill Bosa has been named chief operating officer (COO) at Wingate Healthcare, a senior living and health care services provider in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York.
Bosa previously served as COO of the Nursing Center Division at Kindred Healthcare (NYSE: KND), where she oversaw more than 100 skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and sub-acute care centers across 20 states.
Kindred struck a deal to exit the skilled nursing space altogether in 2017.
“Jill is an expert in the areas of clinical innovation, quality assurance and performance improvement, and post-acute care,” Scott Schuster, the founder and chief executive officer of Wingate Healthcare, said in a release.
“Jill has extensive management experience and a strong clinical and operational background. We are very excited to have her on our team and look forward to her leadership, strength, passion for the business and compassion for the seniors in our care.”
Bosa, who has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry, also held executive leadership positions with Signature HealthCARE and Extendicare Health Services.
In 2008, when she was serving as senior director of operations for Kindred, the American Health Care Association named her a Future Leader of America in Long-Term Care.
