Tennessee SNF Set to Grow

Overton County Health and Rehab, a skilled nursing facility in Livingston, Tennessee, is planning to expand.

If all goes according to plan, the expansion would take place this fall, reports the Livingston Enterprise, a local news publication.

Planned Mainstreet SNF Moves Forward in Indiana

Local officials recently gave their final approval to a planned 96-bed senior health care facility in Whitestown, Indiana.

The development is from Mainstreet Property Group and costs approximately $20 million, according to Inside Indiana Business, a news site.

Nonprofit Gets OK to Build in Southern Pennsylvania

Nonprofit senior living provider Menno Haven recently got the go-ahead from local officials to build a $21 million rehabilitation center in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Workers are expected to break ground in mid-September on a 44-suite skilled nursing facility at Menno Haven, reports Public Opinion.

Tutera Breaks Ground on $21M Rehab and Health Care Center in Kansas City

Work is now underway for a new Tutera Senior Living & Health Care facility in Kansas City.

Construction crews began moving dirt on Aug. 16 for the new $21 million Northland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, according to a press release.

The center will offer post-surgical, skilled nursing rehabilitation and wellness services and extended-stay services for prolonged recovery. Residents will stay in one of 60 private suites and have access to a rehabilitation gym, a mind and body wellness center and spa with massage therapy, yoga and other wellness classes, a full-service salon and restaurant-style dining.

The facility also will have mock living spaces, including a full-scale kitchen, bathroom, living room and outdoor courtyard, that are designed to prepare residents to return to active living.

The development team for Northland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center includes Olsson Associates Civil Engineers, Nearing Staats Prelogar & Jones Architects and Luke Draily Construction Company.

The project is expected to be complete in the summer of 2018.

Vibra Healthcare to Open Post-Acute Facility Near Houston

A new post-acute and residential care facility from Vibra Healthcare is scheduled to open in Katy, Texas.

VibraLife of Katy will open with 104 beds in the summer of 2018, reports local newspaper Community Impact.

Central Texas to Get New SNF in October

A new 120-bed rehab and nursing facility is slated to open in Killeen, Texas, in the fall.

Killeen Nursing & Rehabilitation is scheduled to open its doors in the middle of October, reports the Killeen Daily Herald. The facility will offer skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and physical, occupational and speech therapy.

Workers are expected to wrap up construction in September.
