$20 Million Retirement Home Planned in Nebraska

Vetter Health Services plans to build a $20 million retirement home in Kearney, Neb., reports the Kearney Hub, a local news site.

The campus, dubbed Brookestone Gardens Retirement Campus, will house a 60-bed skilled nursing facility and 40 assisted-living apartments.

Brookstone Gardens is currently scheduled to open in 2018.

Genesis HealthCare Plotting Skilled Rehab Facility in Massachusetts

Genesis HealthCare has moved one step closer to opening a skilled rehabilitation facility in Dracut, Mass.

Local officials gave the go-ahead to rezone a plot of land that would hold the forthcoming facility, according to the Lowell Sun.

Workers Break Ground on Ohio SNF 

Carespring Health Care Management has broken ground on a $24 million, 143-bed nursing home just outside of Dayton, Ohio.

If all goes according to plan, the Boonespring Health Care & Rehabilitation Center will open in the fall of 2018, reports Cincinnati.com.

Construction Nearly Underway for Tennessee Nursing Home

Regional health system Mountain States and Signature HealthCARE, a rehabilitation company based in Louisville, Ky., are poised to break ground on a new nursing home in Johnson City, Tenn.

The new facility is slated to house 47 skilled nursing beds and 60 assisted-living beds, according to the Johnson City Press.

Villa Healthcare to Showcase New Renovations in Minnesota, Wisconsin

Villa Healthcare is holding open houses at two of its communities this month to showcase newly completed renovations.

The nursing facility owner and manager is scheduled to hold events for Villa at Middleton Village in Middleton, Wis., and for Villa at Osseo in Osseo, Minn. on July 20, the company announced.

Both facilities recently underwent multi-million-dollar renovations.

Five Star Completes Short Term Rehab Facility in Indiana

Five Star Senior Living (Nasdaq: FVE) has announced the completion of a short-term rehabilitation center at Meadowood Retirement Community in Bloomington, Ind.

The facility, branded with the “Rehab to Home” name, features private suites with hotel-like amenities that include concierge services, high-speed Wi-Fi, high-definition televisions and a dining menu inspired by Five Star’s executive chef, Brad Miller.
