The St. Clair Shores city council held off on giving its blessing to a skilled nursing center being developed by skilled nursing provider Ciena Healthcare, C&G Newspapers reports.

The heart of the problem lies in a lack of information, officials said. A representative for the project’s architect didn’t have a color rendering or image of the proposal ready to present to the city council.

“What you’re telling us and showing us gives me no clue of what you’re going to do,” one city councilmember is reported as saying.

Ciena Healthcare may again present its plans to the city council in August. But, for now, it’s back to the drawing board.
